To mark the start of Stout season and the soliday season ahead, we’ve partnered with our friends at Hackney Church to brew a Texan Pecan Pie Stout – Yippee Pie-Yay.
After our recent visit to Hackney Church Brew Co. with our new US partners, Pro Brew Supply, we thought what better way to mark the start of the partnership than with a collective tribute to the Texan Thanksgiving dessert, the pecan pie, with a malt forward Pastry Stout style beer!
Pulling out all the stops, Jacob and the team have layered 8 of our malts to create a sweet, biscuity, roasty base loaded with ‘Phoenix’ hops for a gentle bitterness and spiced chocolate character to the beer. ‘Harlequin’ hops bring a pleasing, uplifting fruity note. Ready just in time to enjoy for Thanksgiving and Christmas!
