2021 saw the installation of our brand new weighbridge at French & Jupps Maltings.

French & Jupps are amongst the oldest manufacturing companies in the country. To celebrate this we commissioned a short film created by one of our tenants and it features one of our very own Maltster’s who donned his flat cap for a reminder of how it used to be and our current process today.
Coloured malts provide an extensive range of brewing materials capable of imparting flavour characteristics as well as controlling the colour of beer. The British Malting industry is the largest producer of these malts in the world producing over 40,000 tonnes a year.
