South Cambridgeshire’s BrewBoard brewery and The Green Man pub in Thriplow are raising a glass to tradition with a local collaboration, uniting with French & Jupps and Hukins Hops, to create a unique beer that tells a story ‘full circle’ of local provenance.
It’s now mid-May, and our Winter Barley is really starting to show what it’s made of. As just a few weeks ago, these fields were only green shoots, and now the ears of our crop have just emerged.
Welcome to our virtual tour of French & Jupps Maltings, Great Britain’s Oldest Maltster, where since 1689 we have continued the journey of producing the finest grain, to produce our time-honoured roasted malts. The journey begins here, in the abundant fields of Hertfordshire, with our carefully selected barley.
